In fall of 1993 Assured Air, Ltd. was opened in downtown La Grange near the intersection of Hillgrove and Brainard. The original crew was Ted DeCarlo and Traci DeBartolo (who a year later married Ted in 1994). The shop was opened in La Grange which was the home of Ted's wife Traci, her family resided there for over 25 years. Ted a ND grad attended and graduated from Coyne American Institute for HVACR in 1987, then attended Triton College and came from a family of entrepreneurs. He worked for previous companies that focused on refrigeration, high velocity air conditioning systems, boilers, light commercial units and
regular residential HVAC systems. Traci a LTHS grad had office management experience, a accounting backround and also came from a family of entrepreneurs. Working together has a team the business developed and grew, concentrating on all forms of residential and lite commercial HVAC. It also specializes in Space Pak high velocity systems for radiator heated homes, boilers, mini split systems and in floor radiant heating. The company has moved a couple of times over the years spending time in Brookfield and Willow Springs where they are currently located. The company continues to provide quality service and installations to this day.
